We'd like to thank Rosenfeld Media for inviting us to photograph their inaugural Design Operations Summit event at the beautiful Museum of the Moving Image in New York City, November 6-8, 2017.

We had a great time working with the Rosenfeld team again and their first annual Design Operations Summit was an unqualified success.

The venue for this event was the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens. This building was originally part of the Astoria Studio complex before it was set aside for use as a history museum by the Astoria Studios Board of Directors.

The exterior is simple and industrial, as you would expect for a studio building of the time. The main interior of the building is now sleek and modern; white floors, white walls, white ceilings, and seemingly few right angles.

With all of the white reflective surfaces the space shoots more like a photography studio than some photography studios. Shooting SpeedLites in the main space was a joy and we're looking forward to our next event photography opportunity in this beautiful New York City space.
